Keep vulnerable residents warm this winter

FUEL POVERTY TRAINING

This session is designed for professionals already working with residents in or at risk of fuel poverty.

We'll explain the causes, highlight the early signs to look out for and detail the help available and how to access it.

'During winter 2008/2009, an extra 36,700 people died in the UK in comparison to non-winter months. These deaths are a result of the effects of cold weather on people in their homes'
NEA, 2009.

The training is very flexible and can be a longer formal session or short informal session as part of an existing team meeting.

We can accommodate between 8 and 25 people in a session.

Thanks to GIS, we can also provide an area map showing relative local levels of fuel poverty.
