We help you tackle fuel poverty
Fuel poverty currently affects 5.1 million households in the UK, many of which are vulnerable. What measures have you got in place to tackle this problem?
USEA can set up and manage an Affordable Warmth Network across a designated area which will bring all partners together and promote available help by talking directly to residents and training front line professionals in contact with vulnerable residents.
This service can be linked with a free phone helpline provided by USEA giving advice to residents on issues such as grants, insulation, energy bills, fuel debt and how to be more energy efficient.
It often helps to move fuel poverty work forward to have a strategy/policy in place. USEA is able to develop a bespoke Fuel Poverty Strategy.
This will investigate the problems facing your residents, what schemes are already in place and what action should follow to help reduce fuel poverty levels. This will involve partnership working with other key organisations.
USEA can also offer a separate Fuel Poverty Training package to train your frontline staff who are in direct contact with residents in or at risk of fuel poverty. Details of this can be found under the training section of the website.
